Visitation vs. Pollination: How Do You Know Who’s The Best Pollinator?

Our feature article this month comes from Manu Saunders, a community ecologist based at the University of New England, NSW. Manu works on a range of problems and systems but most of her research focuses on insects, particularly how they interact with their environment. Insects are critical to ecosystem function and are the most abundant and diverse group of animals on Earth. Manu co-founded Wild Pollinator Count in 2014, Australia’s first national citizen science project focused on raising awareness about wild pollinators.
