This month’s feature article is penned by Dr Judy Friedlander, the founder and director of not-for-profit, PlantingSeeds Projects, whose flagship program is the B&B Highway. Judy is an experienced Postgraduate Researcher awarded a PhD through the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS and has had an impressive media and journalism career in newspapers and television.
Judy’s insights and experiences with news media, sustainability and biodiversity re-search, and practical campaigning have helped contribute to the positive reception and multi-state implementation of the B&B Highway initiative. Her passion for biodiversity, pollinators and regeneration is evident in this article as is her drive to cultivate a greater appreciation of the environment which translates to effective actions.
