Tim Heard facilitated a workshop on stingless beekeeping in the NT in June. He encouraged attendees to form a local branch which they did enthusiastically.
Nine Northern Territory members met on 1 July and voted to form a branch. This becomes official once the ANBA Management Committee votes to accept the branch.
A chair, secretary and treasurer were elected and a vote taken to name the branch.
