Mid North Coast Branch – July 2022

It seems a long time since our last meeting but let’s get going now as so much is happening in the insect-world.

Our next meeting: Thursday 4th August 2022 7pm
At LUSC (Laurieton United Services Club)
This will be our AGM (shouldn’t take too long). All positions will be vacated so please think about if you would like to contribute to our native bee group.

OTHER TOPICS for the night:
• VARROA MITE update (remember Varroa does NOT affect our native bees but proposed eradication meth-ods could have an impact)
• POWERPOINT presentation from the recent Native Bee Conference
• Conference update – outline of some scientific break-throughs
• Artificial Log design ideas from Ken

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday 4th. Come along at 6pm if you would like to join us to have a bite to eat at the club beforehand.
Warmest wishes from Diane – chair
