Last meeting—Sunday 21st January,
The Brisbane Branch met at 1pm on Sunday 21st January at the Bulimba Community Centre. This date sets the pattern for the year, in 2024 our meetings have moved to the 3rd Sunday of each month. This meeting was an informal get-together attended by 12 members, including two new members attending for the first time. It was an opportunity for Greg and Jennifer brought along an empty OATH hive with a PVC all-weather hive cover as well as a new design hive compatible with 40mm thick hive boxes, which promoted some discussion. There was also some surplus merchandise available for sale. Members were asked for their ideas on different activities that the branch might consider organizing either at the regular monthly meetings or in addition to those, a useful list was compiled for the Management Committee to consider. The February meeting will be at 1 pm on Sunday 18th February, and return to our normal format featuring a guest speaker.
