Wide Bay September 2022

The Wide Bay Branch held its meeting on 17 September 2022 at a local Macadamia Farm with a presentation by member Adam Kent who also provided published papers to the branch for our library. Topics covered included Native Bees, European bees, foraging habits of both, flowering biology of trees, Macadamia farms, tree varieties, pollination, placement of hives, industry profiles and challenges. The members would like to thank Adam on providing a very interesting and challenging presentation, very enjoyable and informative.
