The ANBA Wide Bay Branch held two workshops on Saturday, 18th March 2023, in Bundaberg, with Ian Driver (immediate past President ANBA) of A Green Soul Native Bees delivering informative and well-received presentations to the oversubscribed sessions. The recently purchased marquee from a Grant through the ANBA proved an excellent acquisition providing additional shade when a hive split was demonstrated on the extremely hot day. Participants of the workshops were very involved and keen to learn about native bees and seemed to genuinely appreciate the opportunity to attend, leaving with new knowledge, smiles on faces, and a personally constructed solitary beehive!!! Many thanks to Ian Driver and his able assistant/wife Sharon for all their efforts with the workshops and to the volunteers that made this possible.
