Set amidst the lush rainforest backdrop of Mt Whitfield, the Tanks Arts Centre is an iconic, multi-use, contemporary arts facility housed in three converted World War II naval oil storage tanks.

Accommodation
Most hotels in Cairns are located in the downtown area near Cairns Esplanade. If you book a hotel there, it is a 9 min drive to the conference venue, or 16 mins by local bus (with buses running every 10 mins throughout the day).
